I once got into quite a lot of trouble for trying to explain to a QC MP why men and women disagree over the definition of rape.

The essence of what i was trying to say was that men get piss proud and women don't.

When I was quite a little boy it was time to start the long car journey to our holidays. I needed a wee - seen the car advert lately - but I was just old enough to have had a few - rather large - erections - musta been about 8 (years not inches) - and to know that although these were for sex they were caused by excitement. This didn't not seem like a good time to explain the male experience of my panicking mother.

What I knew was that it wasn't just a case of getting to the toilet. I would have to calm down enough , for long enough, for the erection to subside sufficiently for me to have a wet.

I told this QC this because in extremis women should know that if a man wants sex he is more likely to loose his erection if the woman calms him that if she kicks and screams.

What I was saying was that as a little boy I was at some slight risk of developing a Get into the car NOW fetish.
